Nevada is one of the nation's least taxed states Home and Abroad News Press U.S. Delegation attended the business breakfast of Nevada Development Authority (NDA)

Nevada, located in the southwestern United States, is the hub for the 11 western states in U.S. September 20th, invited by Nevada Development Authority (NDA); our delegation attended their monthly business breakfast meeting with officials and guests from Nevada State and municipal governments, local business community, university academics and educators as well as entrepreneurs from various sectors, more than 200 people.    Before starting the breakfast meeting, the host specially welcomed us, the guests from China, on the behalf of the NDA, the audience warmly applause for us and we all stood up with smiles. The Chairman of NDA gave us a welcome speech and announced the recent development status of NDA then followed with a keynote speech. Nevada Development Authority (NDA) is a state agency; it provides services, supports and assistance to various sectors in Nevada to achieve a diversified economic development in the state. The business breakfast meetings bring government officials and business elites together. Some significant guests deliver speeches in the meeting. NDA also arranges interactive session for all meeting participants so that they can exchange their business cards and make dialogues with each other with enjoyable atmospheres.    Our delegation learnt that to attract foreign investments to Nevada, the local government not only offers its rich natural resources but also provides very favorable taxation treatments to most all kinds of business. Nevada has a unique tax structure; the state has no corporate income tax, no personal income tax, no franchise income tax, no company or employee equity tax, no inventory tax and such, which greatly reduce tax burdens on many companies; therefore, it is known that "Nevada is one of the nation's least taxed states."
